Service is great. The Milanesa is delicious (you know Milanesa as well as spaghetti as part of Christmas dinner is considered Mexican food) and switch the rice for fries. in Mexico we dress the milanesa with some lemon juice and eat it with spicy hot salsa and tortillas. The restaurant is very well ventilated as it is only cover with a huge nice palapa and there is also seating in the beach. View is beautiful. It has a nice stage and dancing area. Bandidos Band is performing on Saturday's as of November 2021.

The food was delicious! The drinks are reasonable. At night, they brought candles so we are by candlelight. I was very impressed and would highly recommend it! They also had live music and friendly service.

Seriously incredible place. Right on the beach, but we came at sunset so we chose to sit inside. One other group was there and had a mariachi band who were incredibly fun. Our service was incredible and the fish was the best meal I've had in Melaque. Can't wait to come back!

I think we might have been here during an ‘off night’ reading the other recent reviews. Hopefully our experience was a ‘one off’. Our party of 5 sat down and our server dropped one menu onto the crack between the two tables. I picked it up to peruse the drink menu. Two of my companions ordered Margaritas without seeing the menu. I looked at the one and only menu and there were no prices beside the drinks. I jokingly said, ‘it looks like the drinks are free, since there are no prices beside them’. It went over like a lead balloon with our server. It took 3 attempts to understand that they are 100p. Not language miscommunication but muttering under your breath miscommunication. We felt unwelcomed instantly. Our drinks came. The 3 of us that ordered Margaritas gacked as we took our first sips. The straw sucked up the unstirred warm liquor at the bottom and we all agreed it didn’t taste like Tequila at all. It was gross. We stirred them and sucked again and they were still unpleasant. The server didn’t react at all. Our server asked if we wanted food. We tried sharing the one menu but eventually one of my party had to ask the server, who was just standing there impatiently waiting to take our order, to please get more menus for us. It seemed a hassle for our server. The establishment was not busy at all so a shortage of menus wasn’t an issue. The server returned with more menus and dropped them on the table. Not given to each person, who was there to exchange money for goods and services. We ordered an assortment of dinners. Some were great, some were good and some were horrible. The coconut shrimp were so overcooked they were almost like a jerky, I am not exaggerating. Dry and chewy. Huge disappointment since this was my first coconut shrimp in 2 years. I almost cried. I didn’t comment on the overcooked shrimp, since our server had made us feel unwelcome from the get-go. As I said at the beginning, I hope this was an isolated incident and other patrons received great food and great service. It just didn’t happen to our party.

A great place on the beach in Melaque. The food is freshly prepared and tasty, and the beer is ice cold and great prices. I was there helping with a fundraiser that the owners hosted and they always help when they can.

My family and I have been coming to this place since i was a kid. The food is good, the waitress is very attentive and friendly. The view to the beach is nice, although the beach itself is rather muddy in this location than along the coast. Ambient wise there are alot of Canadians/European folk in this location and some locals as well. They have indoor seating which is better than the outdoor seating in the sun which can get rather hot
